The decoration of the holiday home was simply delightful. The modern design and recent refurbishment gave it a fresh and elegant feel. The general areas, such as the fully equipped kitchen and the private garden, were a joy to use. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The ample off-street parking and the easy-to-navigate layout of the bungalow made it a breeze for me to move around and enjoy my stay.
I would have loved to have a mirror in the hallway or in the bedrooms. As a senior woman, it would have been more convenient to have a mirror outside the bathroom for when I needed to use the hairdryer.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful little house for a cycling event. the host was incredibly accommodating, lovely, and friendly. It truly felt like a gem to find this place and I hope to return for many years to come for future cycling events. the house had everything we needed, was super clean, and very relaxing. the king-sized beds were great, with super comfortable mattresses. the location is also fantastic, being a suburb of the city but still well connected to main roads. We even had a food delivery during our stay. the house itself was very comfortable, with a quality TV and Sky as a big bonus. it was a perfect short break. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.

I absolutely adored the beautiful decor of the holiday home. The soft pastel colors and cozy furnishings made me feel like I was staying in a charming cottage by the countryside. The general areas were well-maintained and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. , as a senior woman, I greatly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The wide hallways and spacious layout made it easy for me to navigate around the premises without any trouble.
I would have loved it if there were more grab bars in the bathroom to ensure better safety for senior guests. The children working there were lovely, but sometimes it would have been helpful to have a bit more assistance, especially when it came to carrying my luggage.

I absolutely adored the cozy and inviting decoration of Matara House Holiday Home. The warm colors and comfortable furniture made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for us seniors. Plus, the hotel's accessibility was top-notch, with ramps and handrails throughout the property. It made our stay so much more enjoyable.
I only wish the children working there could have offered a few more activities specifically tailored for seniors.

What a delightful stay at Matara House during our recent trip to the area. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful suburb of Inverness with easy access to main roads. We even had the convenience of arranging a food delivery right to our doorstep! The house itself was incredibly comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the high-quality TV and Sky service. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure cleanliness, and we appreciated the thoughtful details like the ample supply of coffee and even a bottle of wine. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. We also enjoyed the quietness of the surroundings, ensuring a peaceful retreat every night.
While the garden was spacious, it didn't offer the security we needed to let our dog off the lead due to a lack of gates on the driveway and a low wall surrounding the property. Additionally, it would have been convenient to have a mirror in the hall or bedrooms for grooming, as the only mirror available was above the sink in the bathroom.

The location was fantastic, with easy access to main roads and the ability to have food delivered. the house itself was very comfortable, with a high-quality TV and Sky. It was also very clean and well-stocked with coffee and even wine. the beds were comfortable and the nights were quiet.
The garden was not secure for letting the dog off the lead, as there were no gates on the driveway and a low wall at the front and side. there was a lack of mirrors in the hall or bedrooms, with only one above the sink in the bathroom.
